Dear Bishop,
With reference to your letter of the 29th. ultimo, I am willing to recommend to the Secretary of State that the site in question should be leased to yourself and your successors in office for the purpose of erecting a Chapel there- -on without auction at a premium of 8960 (the value of the site as estimated by the Director of Public Works) and an annual Crown Rent of $34, for so long as a Chapel is maintained on the site.
(Sd.)
Yours etc.,
